Setup takes 60 seconds. Every job after that is the same five steps. Done by the time you get back to your truck.
Open the app, tap Settings. Type your name, your company, your license number. Upload your company logo (any image — we resize it). The next time you start a claim, all of this auto-fills.
You only do this once. Five minutes total. Then never again.
Tap "New Project." Fill in the customer info, the claim number, the loss type (we have 60+ presets — wind, hail, fire, water, vandalism, etc.). If you're hired by an insurance carrier, drop their name in the optional "Hired by" field.
The internal job ID is auto-generated. You can edit it or hit regenerate if it collides with something. Nothing here is required except customer name — fill what you have, come back to the rest.
Tap "Add Photo." On a phone, this opens your camera. On a desktop, it's a file picker. Take as many as the job needs — wide shots, close-ups, evidence of pre-existing conditions, the makeshift tarp the homeowner threw on the leak.
Each photo drops into the project list immediately. You can reorder them later. ProofWolf auto-rotates landscape phone shots so they fill the markup screen.
Tap a photo to open the markup screen. Use the arrow, circle, box, freehand, or text tools to point out the damage. Pinch to zoom for tight details. Pick from five marker colors.
When you're done marking up, tap "Done — add details." A slide-up sheet lets you fill in the title, room/area (100+ presets), dimensions, severity, and description. Press the microphone button to dictate the description — no typing while you're on a roof.
If you forget a field, ProofWolf flashes a red dot on that photo's card so you can come back to it.
Hit "Generate PDF." A branded cover page builds first (your company logo + name on top), then one full page per photo (image on the left, all the details on the right).
On a phone, the share sheet opens automatically — pick iMessage, Mail, AirDrop, WhatsApp, whatever. On a desktop, it downloads. You can also "Save As" to drop a backup `.claims` file alongside the PDF.
The customer gets the report before you climb down off the roof. The carrier gets it before they ask.
ProofWolf has no server. We can't see your photos, your customer info, or your claims. Your projects save locally in your browser. You can export any project as a `.claims` file to back up or move to another device. Nothing uploads, ever.
